What Is Dividing a PDF Page?
Dividing a PDF page splits one page into multiple smaller pages. Each section becomes its own page in the output document while keeping the original content, quality, and resolution intact. Divide Pages is the inverse of N-Up composition: instead of fitting many pages onto one sheet, it cuts each sheet into several pages. This is useful for creating signage, poster tiles, brochures, tickets, labels, and detailed layouts where each region of a page needs to stand alone.

Good to Know
Encrypted PDFs cannot be processed and must be decrypted first. Dividing increases the page count — a 10-page PDF divided into a 3×3 grid becomes 90 pages. The output may be larger than the original because each section embeds the full page content. Pages with unusual rotation are handled as-is. Custom grids are limited to 10 columns and 10 rows per page.
