Our PDF Attachment Editor lists and manages the embedded file attachments in your PDF documents using CoherentPDF, a professional PDF library compiled to WebAssembly. After uploading a PDF, all embedded attachments are automatically listed with their names, sizes, and page association. You can select which attachments to remove using checkboxes, with convenient Select All / Select None options. When you save changes, the PDF is rebuilt by re-attaching only the attachments you chose to keep, effectively removing the selected ones. All other document content, pages, text, and formatting are preserved. All processing stays local in your browser — no data is ever uploaded.
Managing PDF attachments with our tool is simple:
Drag and drop a PDF file onto the upload area. All embedded attachments are listed automatically.
Review the list of attachments with their names, sizes, and page association. Use Select All or Select None to manage them.
Check the attachments you want to remove. The button shows how many are selected.
Click Remove Selected to rebuild the PDF without the selected attachments. Download the modified PDF with all other content preserved.
This tool removes embedded file attachments by rebuilding the PDF with only the kept attachments re-attached. All other document content is preserved. Attachments that are not selected for removal are kept intact. If a PDF has no attachments, a notice is shown. Encrypted PDFs or PDFs with structural issues cannot be processed.
