About Excel to SQL conversion

Loading a spreadsheet into a database usually means writing INSERT statements by hand. AnyDocFlow’s Excel to SQL converter does it for you: it reads your XLSX, XLS, ODS, CSV, or TSV files and generates one SQL script per worksheet — a CREATE TABLE that builds the schema and INSERT statements that load the rows. Column types are inferred from the data (INT, DOUBLE, or VARCHAR), table and column names are sanitized, and string values are escaped so the output runs cleanly in MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, and other engines. Everything happens in your browser — nothing is uploaded, and your data never leaves your device.

How to convert Excel to SQL

Three simple steps — no account, no software, and no data leaving your device.

1

Add your files

Click the drop zone or drag XLSX, XLS, ODS, CSV, or TSV files into the page. You can select several files at once.

2

Wait for conversion

Each file is read locally and every sheet becomes a CREATE TABLE plus INSERT statements, with types inferred.

3

Download your SQL

Download each converted file with one click, or press Download all to receive every result as a single ZIP archive.

Notes

There is no file size limit and everything runs locally. The first row of each sheet becomes the column names. Type inference looks at all non-empty values in a column: all integers become INT, numbers with decimals become DOUBLE, and anything else becomes VARCHAR(255). Table and column names are sanitized to letters, numbers, and underscores.
