About Markdown to Word
Markdown is the fastest way to draft structured documents, but most colleagues, clients, and reviewers still live in Word. This tool bridges the gap: write once in Markdown, then export a polished, fully editable .docx — no LibreOffice, no servers, no setup. A live preview shows the rendered result as you type, and the layout bar gives you full control over page size (A4, Letter, Legal, A5, A3 or custom), orientation, margin, font family and size, and page numbers. The conversion is powered by marked for Markdown parsing and the open-source docx library to build the Word package, so every heading, table, code block, and link becomes a real Word element you can keep editing after export.
How to convert Markdown to Word

Things to keep in mind
The conversion runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded. Remote image URLs are fetched and embedded so the document is self-contained, but unreachable images are skipped rather than breaking the export. Raw HTML inside Markdown is passed through as text, and GFM task-list checkboxes render as ballot-box glyphs (☑/☐) in an indented list so the checked/unchecked state survives the export.
