Extract E-book Images

Pull the cover art and every illustration out of your EPUB in seconds — previewed in a grid, downloaded individually or as a ZIP, all privately in your browser.

Why Extract with AnyDocFlow

Batch Extraction

Drop several EPUB files at once and extract every image from each in a single pass — no re-uploading, no repeat visits.

Smart Cover Detection

The engine reads the OPF manifest and flags the book's cover automatically, so you always know which image is the cover art.

Thumbnail Preview Grid

Every extracted image is shown as a live thumbnail with its file name and size, so you can pick exactly what you need.

Byte-Exact Output

Images are handed over unchanged — nothing is re-encoded or recompressed, so quality is always identical to the source book.

100% Local & Private

Extraction runs entirely in your browser with a pure-JavaScript engine. Your e-book is never uploaded, so nothing leaves your device.

One-Click ZIP Download

Grab the images of one book or all books at once as a tidy ZIP, or download any image individually.

About This E-book Image Extractor

EPUB e-books embed their cover art and illustrations directly inside the archive. This tool unpacks the EPUB in your browser, reads its OPF manifest and returns every image file it contains — cover art, chapter illustrations and inline pictures — exactly as stored, without re-encoding a single pixel. Each image is shown as a thumbnail with its name and size, and the cover is flagged automatically. Download images one by one, bundle one book's images into a ZIP, or grab everything across all your books in a single archive. Because the whole job runs on your device with a pure-JavaScript engine, your files never leave your computer.

How to Extract E-book Images

Three quick steps — no sign-up, no upload, no cost.

1

Upload your e-books

Drag and drop one or more .epub files onto the upload area, or click to browse. Every book is listed with its file size.

2

Extract the images

Extraction starts automatically the moment your books are added — every embedded image is shown as a thumbnail with its name and size, and the cover is flagged automatically.

3

Download what you need

Download images individually, bundle one book's images into a ZIP, or grab everything across all books in a single archive.

Important Notes

DRM-protected (encrypted) EPUBs cannot be read at all — their content is encrypted, so the tool reports them as unreadable. Only image files are extracted; fonts, CSS, HTML and other resources are left behind by design. Image formats browsers cannot preview (such as TIFF) are still extracted and downloadable — they simply show a placeholder icon instead of a thumbnail. Extraction returns the original bytes unchanged, and all processing happens on your device.
