Grid combine arranges pages from multiple PDF files into a single grid layout, exactly like a contact sheet. Each page is scaled and placed into a cell on an output sheet, so you can preview, compare, or print many pages together. It is the opposite of the Divide PDF tool: instead of cutting pages apart, it lays many pages side by side. This is ideal for creating preview sheets, photo sheets, proof sheets, tile arrangements, and comparison grids.
Combining PDFs into a grid takes a few simple steps. Everything runs in your browser.
Add two or more PDF files. Each file's pages and a thumbnail are detected automatically.
Select a grid such as 2×2, 3×3, or 4×4, then adjust page size, orientation, spacing, margins, and borders.
Drag to reorder files and choose whether to include only the first page or all pages from each file.
Click Combine into Grid and the single output PDF with every page in the grid is ready to download.
At least two PDF files are required. Encrypted PDFs cannot be processed and must be decrypted first. When 'First page only' is selected, extra pages in each file are ignored. Pages are scaled to fit their grid cell while preserving the aspect ratio. The output file can be large when many high-resolution pages are combined — you can compress it afterwards with the Compress PDF tool.
